Social experiment · personal project by a commercial agent
An open experiment for educational and outreach purposes: still phones that together recognise a tremor, and one device that recognises the profile of a fall. A technology demonstration on risk awareness and active citizenship. It is not a safety service, not a medical device, not an alerting system.
“When a sensor feels, the network sees” is the educational experiment that shows how raw data can stay on the device while only aggregated signals reach the network.
The buttons «Open the demo» and «Download the APK» stay locked until you read and accept the Notice, the Terms of Use and the Privacy Notice via the click-wrap.
The demo only shows on-device logic. No real rescue alert is sent to third parties. For adult signatories only, for personal use. Installation on behalf of non-signing third parties is forbidden.
Two signals, one demonstration
Free-fall dive, impact, then stillness: the phone recognises the profile from its own buffer. In the demo it is shown on screen, to make clear how the heuristic works and what its limits are (false positives and negatives).
A single vibration means nothing. The experiment shows how, only when enough still devices feel the same oscillation at the same moment and in the same area, an emergent signal arises. Whoever is walking is excluded.
Who publishes this experiment
Single-mandate commercial agent under article 1742 of the Italian Civil Code, holder of an active Italian VAT number. Publishes the app in person, outside the agency relationship, without using assets or trademarks of the principal. No personal data of the Holder is published in clear text: the Q-code points to the public chamber of commerce extract (Italian Companies Register) for verified identity.
Scan for official identification, GDPR rights requests (articles 15-22) and any legal communication. No certified email, no email, no phone in clear text.
Free app, no insurance coverage, no public offer. Any contribution on a third-party platform is an optional free gift to the Holder (see «Contribute» section), not consideration for services. Social experiment with assumption of responsibility delegated to the signatory.
Optional contribution
The experiment runs on a small VPS that incurs monthly costs. Voluntary contributions to a third-party crowdfunding platform help cover hosting and bandwidth. The contribution is a free gift to the Holder, regulated by the platform's terms: it does not purchase a service, does not grant any benefit, does not constitute consideration. The Application remains free of use with or without contribution. See Terms §12.
Optional · no reward · no service · no invoice
